MD: “Lost” did air. The eligibility period is June 1, 2006 - December 31, 2007, a year-and-a-half. (The IVy Awards were formerly from June through May but are shifting this year to a January through December schedule.)
You’re right, however. Laurie’s nomination for “Best Recurring or Single Performance in a Comedy Talk, Variety or Sketch Series” is for “Saturday Night Live,” not “House, M.D.” My mistake. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

Huge fan of ‘Journeyman’ and ‘Lost’. I would hate to see either one of them go, and though I am grateful ‘Lost’ is secure in that regard, I’m worried vis a vis ‘Journeyman’. The acting is wonderful the writing superb, and each episode, like ‘Lost’, pulls you further and further in to its world. I hope the fans outside the network aren’t the only ones who realize this.

Journeyman never had a fair chance. I think it had a hugh folowing considering it competed with Monday Night Football and CSI:Miami. NBC has to consider that when decideing what to do. There are very few shows I have ever watched that both entertained and inspired me. Journeyman does this. The relationships are believable, real, and functional. It demonstrates how there can be discontentment, or even dislike, but also respect and acceptance of differences. There is great action leaving me on the edge of my seat week after week. The show has so much potential and mystery that leaves me anxiously anticipating for the next episode. I don’t normally chat or leave messages on the internet, I just faithfully watch Journeyman week after week. This is something I felt strongly enough about to post, please bring Journeyman back.

There is something special about Journeyman that simply supersedes anything the networks have offered us in a long time. Through no promotion from NBC, Journeyman is gaining a fan base across the internet that I haven’t seen since Firefly. There are far more fans today than there were when it was on air. The special quality needs to be defined: suberb actors playing interesting, well-written characters that you care about, wonderful stories with more future potential than 99% of the network offerings today, exciting adventure, romance, time travel (the sci fi element), family values rarely seen on the TV lineup. The essence of all performances: Ms. Moonblood’s classy and beautiful character Livia who jumps forward in time from 1949, Katie, Dan’s ever faithful, loving, patient, trusting wife, and Kevin McKidd’s portrayal of Dan as our hero - tempted but never giving in - loving his family beyond all others, while trying to untangle the past with his partner, Livia. So much more, I can’t put it all in here. If you haven’t seen this gem of a show - DO SO NOW!!! The only regret you’ll have is there are only 13 episodes. If ever a show needed to continue, THIS one is it!

Wow, these results are astounding.
You guys like your Lost, do ya? Care to explain how it can win all of these awards for a time period in which the show didn’t even air?
Also, the fanboyisms here are really hurting the other categories. Family Guy for ‘Best Animated Series’? You’re kidding, right? South Park was easily #1 this last year, and Robot Chiken consistantly beats Family Guy at their own game.
And Hugh Laurie for his hosting gig on SNL? Wow. The Colbert Nation is crying a river.

Another vote here for Journeyman to return. It really is a shame that well written and acted drama gets so little attention. I am really torn on which show gets my vote for drama. Lost is just an incredible show, and I am amazed at how much I know about all those people on the island.. BUT, Lost has gotten its recognition and a huge following, and Journeyman deserves the same. A better time slot would get it into the light and on more people’s must-watch list, as it is/was on mine.
A great story line, with interesting visits to the past (most of which I recognize all too well), but most of all great ensemble acting AND writing. The writing on the show pulls us into the intertwined lives of realistic characters, even though the topic is time-travel!. I’m sure the actors appreciated being able to do such quality work as well.
I watch only a few shows on TV. Lost is one destination, and Journeyman was another.. Please give it the opportunity to continue.

“Journeyman” is one of the freshest, most inventive, and most entertaining shows to air on network tv in many years…this show deserves to be saved!! It’s rare to see a quality show the whole family can enjoy that is NOT a reality series or a rehashing of a the same old concept. My whole family loved this show and anxiously awaited Mondays. NBC has an obligation to the viewing audience to keep good tv on the air. I’m sure that if “Journeyman” gets canceled, the replacement will be something ridiculous like “So You Think You Can Cut Hair” or the 87th version of “Law & Order”…like we need either of those! KEEP JOURNEYMAN ON TV!!!!!

Please bring back Journeyman. It seems as though every time I get hooked on a series, it gets cancelled. Do the right thing and give the series another shot.
You didn’t even run repeats during the writers strike. You chose to air 2 year old repeats of certain shows. Couldn’t you have atleast reaired the shows you had to give people more of a chance to hear about it.
This was one of the few shows my sons ages 7&9 can watch, and I don’t have to worry about hearing any cussing (the B. word) or vulgar talk.
But now that I say that, I now realize why it was cancelled-no cussing-no sex. It’s smut factor was low.
Man up and put a decent show back on the air.

I think its disgusting that the film industry can drop shows because of ratings.
There should be a law against not fixing a number of seasons or bringing a story to a logical conclusion.
Would you like to read a book halfway and stop ?
The film industry need to realize that shows are for the people to enjoy, now and for future generations of entertainment.
Film industry should not cancel shows just because a few people watched on that day and time in that country.
Has the world watched the show ? or dont they have a say ?
Film studios should be happy to create a series for entertainment value alone.
Even I dont watch all shows, too busy, I will buy complete box set when it is out to watch in my own free time. Nothing to do whether I like the show or not - just timing. The sooner film studios realize that the better before people start to take legal action.
Why on earth do series makers decide to make a series if they have no intention on finishing a story ? Disgraceful. they should be sent out of the industry.

Journeyman is an outstanding show that is well written, has great actors and great moral fiber which we need much more of on Television. It is exciting, and different from anything else on TV. I love “24″ and “Heroes” but “Journeyman”became my favorite!!! It is outstanding please do not cancel it. Give it a chance I believe it will take off if given a chance. The TV stations could have at least run all the episodes and done re-runs of the episodes. Instead they played re-runs of shows I have seen a dozen times. I can’t believe the networks are keeping “Chuck”, “Smallville”, “Pushing Dasies’ and not keeping Journeymen which is much better than all the other new shows they are keeping. Well, this is my first comment about a TV series; I had to mention something since I saw Journeyman show, all episodes, online.
I also saw Lost all online, in which I watch three seasons online in the month of Jan this year. I even started to record Lost on my DVR as I do Smallville weekly. I thought Journeyman has a great story line and it can improve a little but this does not mean to KILL the show just get better writers. My vote is to KEEP JOURNEYMAN ON THE AIR. It would be a wrong choice to end this show at this time. If “Lost” went only a season I would have seen one season then it would have been truly lost. Now if Journeyman is going to be KILLED so soon I will have to rethink about watching other shows from NBC, like Bionic Woman, Heroes, and even Knight Rider.
I do not want to get interested in a NEW show By NBC if it is only going to be taken off the air let alone the Internet. I would not have watched a single Episode of Lost if it were not the Internet access to the first three seasons of that show. I sort of watch other Shows from NBC straight from the internet at NBC site which will be greatly be effected by the out come if Journeyman.
If Journeyman is to be KILLED I will stop watching other NEW shows from NBC and wait to see if any given show will last enough time so that I can watch it. As it happen to Lost. Granted that Lost is a good show but everything can’t be like Lost. That is why other shows are other shows. I can’t be watching a lot of TV but sooner or later a good show is a good show. I will play catch up on the Internet if needed. If the show is as good as Smallville I will buy all the episodes on DVD. Journeyman has what it takes to be a good show if it is shown and with good stories.

Journeyman is the best new TV show I have seen in a VERY long time. It is a program that I genuinely look forward to watching.
I’m proud to say that I am not a voyeur. If I see (and turn away from) one more reality program I’ll choke. I am SO saturated with reality shows!!!!
Please bring Journeyman back. It actually tells a story each week. It has a beginning, middle and end.

Save Journey Man! Go to the NBC web site and make a posting there too. It may help NBC, who has not totally killed the page on their site, to get the point. You have to type “Journey Man” in to the search box because they took the link off the main page. Oh no, I didn’t know Journeyman had been cancelled until I came to this site! I thought is was off the air only because of the writer’s strike. I never watch much network television, but I started watching Journeyman because I liked the lead actor’s work in the miniseries Rome. I got hooked by the intelligent writing, and got the rest of my family watching it regularly. I can’t believe NBC isn’t giving this show another chance. I should have known a show like this was too good to be true. Back to cable TV for me.

You know, I don’t care if they want to pump all the money and advertising into Heroes, but darn it, give Journeyman a chance! Look at all the other time slots it could be in, generally up against even MORE mindless crap. My god, there must be ONE time slot available for the best TV show for thinking people!! As it was, all we watched was Torchwood and Journeyman. Hard to justify the Dish bill watching one show a week…and the only reason Torchwood has probably been on as long as it has is because it’s British! So c’mon…fill all the other time slots with whatever you want, but please, please, please…let ONE show stay on for the rest of us….we are not ALL in the Heroes demographic!
And most of the people that loved it, usually watched it alone. So keep us from tossing the TVs out the window! Bring Journeyman BACK! An awesome cast of truly good actors, an endless supply of possibilities for plots…sigh…I can always tell when my husband and I both agree to watch something it’s doomed. How depressing.

NBC, please renew Journeyman. It’s the first drama series that I’ve cared to invest my time in since The Pretender (which you also cancelled too soon). There is so much crap on TV these days - smutty reality shows with “pop culture stars” displaying barnyard morals, stupid game shows like Singing Bee, and 31 flavors of “Law’n'Order” salaciously highlighting criminal depravity,just to name a few.
Journeyman is pretty family-friendly by today’s standards, displays some moral examples, and is well-written and well-acted, to boot. Please don’t cancel this fine show.

Damn, I regret that I didn’t realize about this poll sooner. I thought the ship for Journeyman’s return sailed, and I had already quit watching NBC network anyway since it’s last Jman airing.
Darn, even CBS didn’t pick up the show. I’m just plain surprised and angry.
It just baffles me to know that Journeyman was even considered for cancellation. The show just needed a little more time to get around people, and it would have put NBC on top again. Jesus, the best show on TV, which actually taught good morals. How often does that happen? And they went ahead and canceled it.
Still, if any NBC people are reading this. I would heartily forget your stupidity if you just fix it by renewing Journeyman. I will even watch the now crappy show called Heroes to wait for J-man. And buy a lot of Dunder Milffin merchandise.
