I’m sorry, but who decided what goes in which category? Pushing Daisies is a drama? Alec Baldwin is supporting? Conan doesn’t make it for performance? And then there’s the fact that you’ve got two seasons combined into one. What if one season of a show was great but the next sucked? You guys need to do a better job at this next year.

Julia: We have very clear rules as to why series qualify in different categories. You can see them on the proposal pages at http://tviv.org/The_TV_IV:IVy_Awards#2008 The eligibility period is because no matter when you split it some seasons are going to be spread over multiple awards years and the calendar year is an easy dividing point (our period is the same as the Golden Globes and SAG awards). As for Conan being missing no one proposed him the process was open to anyone and he was just left off. Next year you can propose him if you want. You could even propose him twice for both Late Night and Tonight.

I’m so glad Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles had nominations, they deserve it. Had a hard time when the actors or episodes were nominated under the same category though. I love both Garret and Brian. I love both Allison from Palmdale and Dungeons and Dragons episodes. I love Shirley but had to vote for Summer. How does one choose? This is an amazing show and should get a third season. Please everybody watch the best show on T.V!

Woo, so glad Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles had nominations, they really deserve it.!!! No matter how much I like Shirley Manson I had to vote for Summer Glau…hands down she’s a winner..and gorgeous too!!!

rofl@ Matthew Fox finally being listed where he belongs, as a supporting actor. Now if only he would realize that’s all he is, maybe he’d stop entering himself as Best Actor for an Emmy, Matthew should get the hint. He’s not even leading in the Best Supporting Actor of the Lost actors. Michael, Terry and Ian are far superior actors to Matthew, and after season 5 Josh Holloway will drop him even further down the list, oh but he can cry on demand, forgot about that LOL. Look whre he stands even with Lost fans. Evangeline Lilly shouldn’t be on this list at all, what a joke to put her on this list with these other actresses, most people would be saying Evangeline who? Toughest choice is best supporting actor between Emerson and Oquinn. Locke is my fav character but even I gotta go with Emerson cause that dude is just an amazing actor. It seems like Oquinn stepped up his game big time since he’s been with Emerson in so many scenes the past 2 years while Matthew Fox did the exact opposite.
